In tourism Industry, demand tourism product is that product which is desired by a tourist. A particular tourist cannot demand all product to fulfill the demand, for that, a tourist must fulfill the nature of demand. Some of the nature of the demand is listed below:

  1. Once of the tourism product.
  2. Willingness to pay for tourism products.
  3. Ability to pay on tourism products.
  4. There must be the price products.
  5. There must be a given time to buy tourism product.

If all the above five elements and law of demand are fulfilled then we can call them nature of tourism demand.Attraction, Accessibility, Accommodations, Amenities, goodwill hospitality etc. are called tourism demand. To fulfill tourism demand tourist needs means like time, money etc. which is limited. So tourist has to choose in travel and tourism demand.

This types of choice in travel and tourism demand are mostly done under :

  • Pelgrimence
  • Invitations to the family wedding and funnel .

There is no level of choice because they are fixed decisions. In other cases, there may be choice such as mountaineering tourist. He/she has to choose that which mountain he must land.

  1. Destination: In this type of level of choice in travel and tourism demand are like this :

  • Single location, a set of location etc.
  • The choice of destination depends on means.
  1. Travel Mode:

The choice of travel mode refers to the means of transportation. There are different types of transportation in the context of the level of speech convenience like comfort, safety etc. all depends on the mode of transport and its choice.

  1. Choice of Accommodation:

There are various types of accommodation for example resorts, hotels, motels, lodges, youth hotels. All these accommodations depend on means and money. If there will be better availability of means of accommodation and a better money then there will be a better choice of accommodation.

  1. Choice of Attraction:

There are two types of attraction which are listed below:

  • Man-Made attraction and
  • Natural attraction.

To choose an attraction it also depends on means and availability of the mean of attraction.

  1. Choice of Purchasing methods:

There are various types of purchasing method. For example: Through travel agent, direct selling mail oriented selling, electronic methods etc.

  1. Money:Money is the main source of resources, therefore, it is one of the constraints of tourism demand because without money there will be no any source of resources and no any activities of travel and tours and because of this reason there will be no tourism, no tourism means no tourism demand.
  1. Political Control:This is also one of the most important influence and constrains on tourism demand. A political control means a control on alcohol, drugs , entertainment, tourist movement, control of passport and government intervention in various sectors.
  1. Time:In tourism, time is also one of the sources of resources therefore, Time is one of the influence and constraints of tourism demand. Because of this constraint tourist may also stop tourism demand or demanding on tourism.
  1. Low-income of Tourist:An income of tourist plays a vital role in demanding on tourism. If an income of tourist will be high then they will demand a high-class tourism demands and if an income of tourist is low then they will demand a medium or low-class tourism demand. Therefore, a tourist demand according to their income level in tourism.
  1. Distribution of a National Income:If we have the in-equal distribution of national income in this situation tourism demand can be increased but if we have equal distribution in economy tourism demand may increase. In this way, distribution of a national income also plays a vital role in containing on the tourism demand.
  1. The value of Money:The value of money plays a vital role in tourism demand . If the value of money is high then there can be a high demand for tourism but if there is a low value of money then it can also stop demands on tourism.
  1. Preference of Tourism Destination:Preference of Tourism Destination is also one of the influence and constraints on tourism demand. If the preference of Tourism destination will change then the tourism demand can be decreased.
  1. Lack of Quality of Tourism Products:If tourists income increases or if tourist income will become high then in this situation tourist may feel inferior product which they used to use. In this situation, tourism demand may stop. Therefore, it is also one of the important constraints on tourism demand.
  1. Advertisement expenditure on tourism products:If an advertisement is very well and very good based on the tourism products then a tourist will be known about the advertised products and they can be attracted to those products and starts demanding more on tourism.
