Globalization

Globalization according to its definition means increase in global links, the organization of social life on a global scale, and the growth of a global world hence linking people together.Globalization is recognized as making of social structure and transferring the people's life all around the universe.It includes the interrelation between people of society, economies, cultures as a whole.

According to Ronald Robertson: “Globalization as a concept refers both to the compression of the world and the intensification of  consciousness of the world as a whole, both concrete global interdependence and consciousness of the global whole in the twentieth century."

Sociologists usually understand the term globalization as an ongoing process which mainly involves the integrated shifts in social, economic, cultural, and the political spheres of the society. It involves the ever-increasing integration of the following aspects in between the communities, nations, regions, and also the isolated places.

Talking about the economic globalization  it can be defined as the expansion of capitalist for the purpose of including all of the places which are mainly around this world to make it a globally integrated system economically.Here the three core aspects in the globalization are fully fueled by the technological development of a country, also the integration in the communication technologies globally, and the distribution of media globally.

The cultural globalization focuses on the distribution as well as the consumption of media, consumption of the consumer goods, and also the consumer lifestyle in the western era. This is known to be fueled through the globally integrated communication systems which includes the social media, and also the coverage of the world and also their lifestyles. It consists of the the movement of people from the global world around through the help of the business and also the leisure travel with their high expectations in which the host societies will be providing amenities as well as experiences that keeps on reflecting their own cultural norms.

 Implication of social processes in management and business administration

The employee are now the owners.  Much of the time we treat business relations are interpersonal relations, that is relations among the friends. The problem arises when a person’s behavior is being determined by their official role and that role conflicts with the interpersonal role to which we have become accustomed. The sociological perspective allows us to see behind a person’s actions and not to take everything personally.The first is relations with the business organization itself. Inside any organization, there are complex arrays of the roles. Imagine the relational adaptations required to manage interactions among the engineers, secretaries, accountants, professionals, managers, blue collar workers, CEO’s etc add to this the changing face of the organization itself. If you cant put yourself in the shoes of your customers and see things from their perspective then you are going nowhere. In sociology, you learn to dig behind surface appearances so you can see what is really motivating a person’s behavior. The connection of this to sales is both straightforward and important.

Implication in management

In simple words, management can be defined as the art of getting things done through others. This definition provides the actual meaning of management which explains the direction of people's activities towards the achievement of a certain goal. Management means many things to many people.The social processes such as adaptation, conflict, globalization, and cooperation are equally in need of management.Management involves planning, organizing, staffing, directing, coordinating and controlling the activities. When there comes a situation to cooperate with people of certain society, management is required.Similarly in the situation of conflict, competition, management is must to eradicate the chaos of the society.And even in adaptation and globalization management is required for the people to resist in the certain society.

Implication in business administration

Man is a social animal and he cannot live alone.People prefer to live in a group, community, and certain society.In business administration, understanding the social process of one's life is the must. Business administration involves a chain of people working together with certain goals as well as objectives. In order to work in an organization, the employees need to know what cooperation is, how is the relation to be maintained among other workers. Likewise, some conflicts might arise in business among the subordinates and the higher level of authorities. And to adapt in a business is the most important thing. So, business administration is an important factor to be discussed for the social process.
