Responsibilities of Adolescent

According to WHO, adolescence is the period where age ranges from ten to nineteen years. Adolescence is marked by physical, social and emotional changes. This is also an age of problem because many adolescents lack the capacity for actualization some of them feel the society in their opposition to reducing the gap and tension in an adolescent. Proper understanding of the adolescents and their family is a must. In an adolescent period, responsibilities of family society and nation adds up.

• To pay attention to cleanliness and heath
• To stay away from bad habits and bad company
• To seek help from parents in crucial matter
• To take part in extra-curricular activities

Responsibility towards family

• To respect the elders and love the youngsters in the family
• To create peace and harmony in the family
• To look after the health of members of family
• To make the parents feel proud of themselves
• To help to remove orthodoxy in the family

Responsibility towards society and nation

• To adopt healthy habits and teach others
• To respect the value of society
• To participate in cultural and traditional programmes
• To discard the negative taboos from the society.
• To volunteer the programmes conducted in the society
• To create peace and harmony in the society.
• To be an example in a society.
