Human Disease Socially Significant Drugs Abuse

Addiction

It simply means the physical and mental use depence in the drugs, which forms an habits and ask for the body for complete dependencies.

Drugs Abuse
the drugs abuse means taking or miss use of the drugs, which keeps in formation of complete depences towords the drugs causing addiction .
1 narcotics
they are depressed and decreased the activity of the drugs in the nervous system.
2 stimulating drugs
they are or increase the activity of nervous system . the psychotropic drugs on the basis of their action can be divided into 4 – group .

Sedatives and tranquillizer
they depress the nervous activity and produce relaxation and calmness. eg barbiturates ,vialium ,diazepam. They are anti- anxiety drugs which causes sedation leading to drowsiness and induce sleeps .

opiate narcotics

they are also depressants and are the derivatives of opium, which is obtained from the pods of poppy plant. Example opium .,morphine , valporates ,leading to the formation of the complete depences towards the drugs.
they don’t include sleeps but are used for their analgesic effect.the addicted person develop "Euphoria "
heroin has been completely know as the drugs for the abuse formation of the addiction towards the drugs .heroin has been completely banned.it is causes physical dependence and the withdrwal symptoms are fits and convultion Etc.Morphin is 10 % more potent than Opium.Atropin,obtained from the larvae of atropa bell adonna,is used by ophthalmologist to dialate the pupil and paralyze the accommodation.
Stimulants
they increase the activity of nervous system and cause awakening . Eg Amphetamines, cocaine, caffeine, methamphetamine ,Cocaine is the 2^nd most popular drugs among the drug abusers pepills are awakening pills which reduce appetite.They are being used but weight conscious people for reducing their body weight .caffeine ,present in tea and coffee is only a stimulant all such stimulation cause psychological dependence and not physical dependence ,so with drawl symptoms are not strong .
hallucinogen
such drugs causes illusion and change the felling perception .
eg :-Bhang,charas,ganja,marrijuwana and LSD etc. LSD known as Lysergic Acid Diethylaminde is most potent hallucinogen.
Mental Illness and addiction.
A person who lives in harmony , with the other person and can face the strain of the environment is called mentally sound. A person who is physically healthy may be mentally ill. About 10 % the people are mentally ill and 1% severly ill.
symptoms of mental illness
loss pf sleep and memory ,change of precipitation ,unreasonable phobias and anxiety, depression and strong felling of hopelessness, there are 3major categories of mental illness .
a Psychosis - it is most severe type of mental illness . such person are generally called mad.
b Neurosis - Its is mild type of mental illness, the person knows that the he or she if sick and prefers to take treatment. It may include several disorder like anxiety discords, obsessive compulsive disorder etc.
C epilepsy – the affected person has convulsion of fits for a short period .

Causes of mental illness
1 hereditary - Schizophrenia is an autosomal recessive disored , person lives in two personality and blows stange behavior , distorted thought .
2 defiency disoerder - the mental illness can also develop due to deficiency of vitman B .
3 family Atomosphere – the lack of love can be major factor which may cause mental illness.
4 Injury to brains - Brain stroke , brain hemmroage or other injury can produce similar effect .
Diseases - the disease like brain tumor ,meningistis ,encephalitis or infection of taenia solium or tape worm.
6 Special factor – injustice, unpleasant incidence , wrong , judgment , poverty , etc can also produce the effect of mental illness.
